Who we are

Forged Carbon Pty Ltd ("Forged Carbon", "we", "us") builds and delivers certified modular homes and, from 2026, sources and supplies building materials, across Queensland. This policy applies to forgedcarbon.com.au and covers how we handle personal information under the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Information we collect

Information you give us directly — when you submit an enquiry, walkthrough booking, or materials quote request through our forms, we collect your name, phone number, email address, suburb/town, and anything you write in the message field.

Information collected automatically — when you browse our site, we (and the third-party services listed below) automatically collect information such as pages viewed, time on site, approximate location (derived from IP address), device and browser type, and the site that referred you to us.

How we use it

We use personal information to:

We do not sell personal information. Where we share information with the affiliated business referred to above, it is limited to advertising-audience data (such as which pages you viewed) rather than your name, phone number or email address, unless you have separately provided those details directly to that business.

Data retention

We retain enquiry information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you and, where you become a customer, to provide our services and meet our legal obligations. Analytics and advertising data is retained according to each third-party service's own retention settings, which we configure where possible to reasonable periods rather than indefinite storage.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete information you've submitted through our forms, by contacting us using the details below. You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time via Google Ads Settings or your browser/device's ad preferences.
